Link up for freedom Jubilee 2000 Coalition

Find out more about debt campaigning in Africa and Latin America with two new quarterly newsletters. Called Uhuru (Swahili for 'freedom') and Enlace (Spanish for 'link'), the two publications bring news and views about the effects of debt and the struggle against it from the perspective of African and Latin American & Caribbean Jubilee 2000 campaigns. The first issue of Uhuru includes a profile of the late Julius Nyerere, champion for debt cancellation, a feature on Malawi and lots of facts and figures on debt and its impact in Africa. Enlace's first issue features in-depth reports on Bolivia, Peru and Haiti as well as campaign news, contact details and statistics for other Latin America and Caribbean countries. Enlace is bilingual with articles provided in both English and Spanish.

Uhuru and Enlace are both published quarterly and are available by annual subscription at the following rates each: £10 ($15) for subscribers to Jubilee 2000 UK, £30 ($50) for other individual, and £40 ($70) for institutions.
