Peru: TADE will have a permanent seat at the Congress Commission on Public External Debt The co-ordinating team of the Andean Tribunal on External Debt (TADE) which is investigating corrupt debt, met with the President of the Commission Investigating Peruvian Public External Debt 1999-2000, Congressman Rafael Valencia Dongo. They agreed to unite to combat corruption in the administration of the external debt. They also agreed that the vigilant involvement of civil society can prevent such criminal acts from reoccurring. The Investigating Commission and the TADE team will exchange research on cases of external debt corruption. They will pool their efforts so as to bring to international and national courts those responsible for corruption and illicit enrichment from the external debt.
