| Tracking HIPC On this page, we provide up-to-date information and analysis on progress in implementing the World Bank and IMF's Heavily Indebted Poor Countries (HIPC) initiative. We keep readers informed about how much debt has been cancelled for each of the 42 countries included within the initiative, and provide a full analysis of each country's debt relief deal. We also present critiques of the HIPC framework, and provide arguments in support of a new process for resolving international debt crises - the Jubilee Framework for international insolvency.
