On this page, we present a range of data on international debt and other key indicators, for use by campaigners, students and researchers. For each of the HIPC countries, we provide up-to-date profiles outlining the historical, political and economic situation of the country; human development indicators; information on progress of the country through the HIPC process; the amount of debt relief received; and the outlook for debt sustainability. We will also provide key data for other highly indebted countries. 

We are in the process of updating these profiles at present, and aim to have profiles for all HIPC countries in place by the end of September 2002.
